Four children were killed on Monday in the village of al-Sukariya in the countryside of al- Bab in the east of Aleppo, as a landmine exploded near them when they were passing through agricultural land.

NSO reporter in Aleppo eastern countryside said that the children aged 7, 11, 13 and 15 years were killed after a landmine exploded, as they passed agricultural land after leaving their school in the village of Sukariya in al- Bab countryside in the east of Aleppo.

The reporter denied the active circulation of activists on social networking sites about the killing of the sons of "Judge Yasser Al-Hamad" in the village of Sukariya during an assassination attempt, confirming that the children were killed by a landmine explosion, in the presence of their father, "Yasser al- Hamad" in the city of Azzaz in northern Aleppo countryside.

ISIS left behind unknown numbers of mines, had planted in areas within its control. Among those areas were al-Bab city and its environs, which were controlled by the opposition factions in February 2017.
