Civilian casualties in International Coalition airstrike on Raqqa eastern countryside
International Coalition bombardment on Tal Abyad city in 2015 -AP
1 Civilian killed and 3 injured in Coalition airstrike on al-Ahwas village in Raqqa eastern countryside following ISIS ambush on the village.
NSO reporter said ISIS fighters sneaked into al-Ahwas village through Euphrates River from two sides and clashed with YPG fighters controlling the village who called International Coalition warplanes for support.
Reporter said helicopters launched attack with missiles and heavy machine guns on ISIS positions between civilians’ houses which killed 1 civilian and injured 3 others.
Reporter added 3 ISIS fighters were killed in bombardment while others flee through Euphrates River to the other bank “Al-Shamyie”near Maadan east Raqqa.
Worth to note ISIS keeps launching attacks on YPG in Raqqa eastrn countryside by sneaking through Euphrates river coming from Hawijet al-Shenan and al-Ahwas district on the al-Shamyie bank
